My goal with this blog is two-fold:
1- a documentation of my exploits in the NYC S&M scene (public and personal… though not too personal)
2- to show the jolly, whimsical, and fun side of what is assumed to be a dark, serious, and very emo kink
My Master and I have only recently begun to play in public and go to parties, and while we’ve had a boat-load of fun and met some really amazing people (and seen some fantastic scenes), I noticed it really wasn’t what I was expecting (not that I was “expecting” anything). When I’m in sub-space, I become quiet and very obedient and I pretty much become an object for my Master to mold. So it was a tiny bit strange to be at these parties and clubs and figure out how to balance my sub-ness with being social and talkative. I believe my Master and I have now created quite a nice balance of this- though sometimes it’s hard to hear the conversation when I’m kneeling on the ground speaking up to those standing around me.
I’ve also taken a firm stand to never wear all black at these parties. Everyone wears black, and if it’s not all black, it’s black and red. Upon seeing this, I knew I didn’t want to buy a bunch of black lingerie and corsets. I love fashion and I love to experiment and I love to stand out. So I’m slowly building my collection of colorful outfits and lingerie (a green corset, banana-yellow bra, bright pink fishnet thigh-highs, lime green lingerie, etc.). Because in the end, it’s all about having fun.
S&M is fun. Sex is fun. Being around all these kinky and sexy and friendly and happy people is fun. I think most of the world has a warped view of S&M, and I hope to change their views by bringing in my own colorful experiences.
